With a strong pipeline and continued expansion, they are investing in senior talent who can operate autonomously and add strategic value to the estimating function.
The Role:
- Lead the preparation of accurate, competitive, and high-quality estimates for major projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and complex project requirements to develop detailed costing strategies
- Review subcontractor and supplier pricing, identify risks, and provide value-engineering alternatives
- Work closely with project, engineering, and leadership teams through handover and tender reviews
- Mentor and support junior estimating staff, helping develop capability within the VIC branch
- Strong background in electrical estimating across large commercial or industrial projects (e.g., $10M+ environments)
- Deep understanding of electrical installations, labour rates, materials, and delivery methodologies
- Proficient with estimating systems such as ConEst or Simpro (or similar platforms)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work autonomously on complex bids
- Comfortable contributing to tender strategy, pricing structures, and project planning
