Known for delivering high quality commercial, retail, and industrial projects, our client is expanding their local team and opening new offices to support a strong pipeline of upcoming work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Estimator who’s looking to progress within a supportive and forward thinking company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare competitive hard-dollar tenders for a variety of new project opportunities
- Develop feasibility studies, elemental and square metre cost plans, and bills of quantities
- Coordinate selective trade packages and manage competitive pricing across internal bids
- Review design documentation and identify value engineering opportunities
- Assist in compiling detailed scopes of work and letting schedules for trade packages
- Contribute to tender submissions, including drafting qualifications, exclusions, and clarifications
- Work collaboratively with the estimating and project teams to ensure complete and accurate pricing strategies
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Estimating role within the construction industry
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of building methodologies and costs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Word
- Experience in the industrial or large scale commercial sectors is desirable
