Senior Estimator

Senior Estimator required to join a reputable contractor based in Sydney’s Inner West, specialising in complex refurbishment, remedial and commercial projects across the education, health, aged care, retail and residential sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the estimating function and play a key role in driving business growth — leading tenders and securing new work across a diverse range of Government and Commercial clients. 

As the Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for:
• Preparing detailed and accurate tenders from first principles
• Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing, negotiations and relationships
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and programs to assess project risks and opportunities
• Preparing cost plans, budgets and value engineering options
• Working closely with Directors and Project Managers to deliver competitive, high-quality submissions

To be considered for the position of Senior Estimator you will require:
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering
• Proven experience estimating fitout, refurbishment or remedial projects up to $10m
• Demonstrated ability to win work within the Government or Commercial market
• Strong local subcontractor and supplier knowledge
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client-facing skills
• A proactive, strategic mindset and passion for driving growth
