About the Opportunity As Senior Estimator, you’ll be instrumental in securing key projects by delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates. You’ll work closely with the leadership team, Project Managers, and design consultants to ensure bids are strategic and commercially sound.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for Melbourne-based commercial construction projects.
- Analyse design documentation, specifications, and project scope to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare accurate pricing submissions and competitive tender packages.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to secure quotes and maintain strong relationships.
- Support the development and improvement of estimating processes, templates, and systems.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of take-off, pricing, and risk assessment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
