Senior Estimator
I’m working with a well-established Queensland construction and development business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial construction sector.
The business delivers a diverse range of projects across education, industrial, hospitality, retail and commercial sectors, including both new build and fitout projects. They have a strong pipeline of work ahead and are continuing to grow, creating a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team.

The Role:
- Managing the end-to-end estimating process for a range of commercial projects
- Preparing accurate and competitive cost plans, estimates and tenders
- Reviewing project documentation, drawings and specifications
- Preparing and managing subcontractor and supplier packages
- Issuing RFQs and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Identifying project risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
- Working closely with the pre-construction and construction teams
- Assisting with tender presentations and client negotiations
- Supporting the business in securing new projects and maintaining strong client relationships
About You:
- 5+ years’ estimating experience within commercial construction
- Proven experience pricing new build and fitout projects
- Strong project experience across education, industrial, hospitality and retail
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, costs and procurement
- Strong subcontractor and supplier relationships across the Brisbane market
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of projects
