This role goes far beyond standard estimating — you’ll operate as the financial engine room of every build, ensuring real‑time cost control across some of Perth’s most exclusive homes.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the financial anchor from concept to completion, partnering closely with the in‑house design team and construction leadership.
  • Preliminary budgeting during early and mid‑stage design
  • Estimating bespoke new builds and high‑end renovations
  • Real‑time cost tracking against budget
  • Budget forecasting and cash‑flow management
  • Cost‑plus contract control, reporting, and financial governance
  • Preparing detailed BOQs, take‑offs, and tender submissions
  • Managing supplier and subcontractor pricing
  • Identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising design intent
  • Maintaining full visibility over the financial health of every active project
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in residential construction in WA
  • Strong background in high‑end custom homes and/or luxury renovations
  • Proven experience with cost‑plus contract management
  • Ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings
  • Deep understanding of WA construction codes and renovation methodologies
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as Buildsoft, Databuild, Truth Engine)
