The Role
This position is perfect for a residential construction professional looking to step away from high-pressure, high-volume environments. You will manage project estimating and scheduling for a select number of bespoke homes each year and oversee the current Estimator/Scheduler, working closely with the senior management team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for full-scope custom residential projects
- Develop and maintain construction schedules from start to finish
- Coordinate trades, materials, and project timelines
- Oversee the current Estimator/Scheduler, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with builders, designers, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
- Utilise project management software to track progress
- Contribute to a seamless client and construction experience
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in residential estimating or scheduling
- Strong background in custom home construction
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Collaborative and proactive with strong communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple elements of bespoke projects while maintaining quality
- Work on architecturally unique, high-quality custom homes
- Manageable project load (typically 7–10 homes per year)
- Convenient office location with onsite parking
- $120,000 + Super
- Flexible work hours, work-from-home options, or 4-day week considered
