Position: Senior Grid Connection Engineer
Location: Melbourne
Salary: up to $210,000 base

Design & Build Recruitment has partnered with a reputable renewable energy developer, backed by a major international investment fund, to add a Senior Grid Connection Engineer to their experienced Grid team.

• Collaborate with a network of external consultants to drive grid connections with a focus on risk management.
• Conduct technical reviews of grid connection studies, oversee decision-making, and liaise with stakeholders for optimal project outcomes
• Support the Head of grid connection with project planning, budgeting, and strategic decisions

• 6 + years of experience in the energy sector, with proven experience in the grid connection process.
• Relevant engineering degree 
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to manage risks and handle high-stakes scenarios
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for representing the client and engaging stakeholders
• Experience in large-scale renewable projects such as wind, solar, and storage is preferred.
