We’re currently seeking and experienced Senior HSEQ Advisor, to join our clients team in a permanent capacity.

Our client is a well-established, reputable business known across Australia for delivering high-quality products and exceptional service. As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced professional to oversee safety and quality standards, ensuring their offerings consistently meet customer expectations.

Some adhoc site travel is required for this position:  day trip OR overnight (only) – this is not a rostered position.

This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all operational activities within the manufacturing / mining sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and rollout of HSEQ programs.
  • Support in developing, review, and maintain HSEQ procedures, registers, and training documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Manage and enhance the HSEQ management system 
  • Monitor, track, and report accurate HSEQ data, including trends and performance metrics.
  • Maintain and continuously improve an Integrated Management System aligned with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 standards
  • Identify opportunities for improvement 
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • Proven experience in a senior role within a comparable industry – Manufacturing / Mining
  • Strong background in quality assurance and compliance
  • Experience conducting ICAM investigations (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships across a diverse workforce, business units, and stakeholders
