An opportunity has opened with a nationwide design studio. Our client specializes in creating functional multidisciplinary spaces. They are looking for someone that shares the same passion for design. This role will give the experience to be hands-on and collaborate with fabulous designers, as well as the opportunity for career progression.
The Role
As a Senior Interior Designer, you’ll take creative and operational ownership of projects from concept to completion. You’ll work closely with directors and collaborators across disciplines to deliver intelligent, elegant interiors that challenge convention and stand the test of time.
This is a key position for someone who thrives in a hands-on, design-focused environment and wants to be part of a studio that values original thinking and crafted outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead concept development, spatial planning and detailed design
- Oversee FF&E selection, joinery detailing and finishes documentation
- Manage client relationships and present with confidence and clarity
- Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and builders during delivery
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to studio culture
- 7+ years’ experience as an Interior Designer in Australia
- Strong portfolio showcasing design flair, conceptual thinking and technical ability
- Proficiency in Revit
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A detail-oriented approach and a love of good design
- Someone who’s collaborative, curious and calm under pressure
- A solid background from a reputable, large-scale Architecture and Design firm
