As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetic and functional aspects of the residential properties. You will work closely with clients, architects, and other team members to transform spaces into stylish, comfortable, and visually appealing environments.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
- Utilize advanced SketchUp skills to create compelling 3D models for interior design projects.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, contributing creative ideas and problem-solving expertise.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail in design concepts and execution, ensuring the final product aligns with client expectations.
- Strong documentation skills, providing thorough and accurate project documentation.
- Develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing design concepts that align with project goals.
- Create detailed design presentations, including mood boards, color schemes, and material selections.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry.
- Oversee the procurement of furniture, fixtures, and accessories, ensuring they meet quality standards and project timelines.
- End to end from initial brief, concept creation, design and delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 8+ years' proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing residential projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and visual.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, incorporating practical knowledge into design solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, balancing self-motivation with collaborative teamwork.
