The Role
As a Senior Interior Designer, you’ll take creative and operational ownership of projects from concept to completion. You’ll work closely with directors and collaborators across disciplines to deliver intelligent, elegant interiors that challenge convention and stand the test of time.
This is a key position for someone who thrives in a hands-on, design-focused environment and wants to be part of a studio that values original thinking and crafted outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Leading interior design projects across all phases, from briefing and space planning through to detailed design, documentation and delivery
- Developing design concepts and resolving detailed interiors in Revit
- Preparing comprehensive documentation, schedules and design packages
- Managing client relationships and liaising with contractors to ensure design intent is realised on site
- Coordinating with consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors
- Providing leadership and guidance to project teams
- Staying up to date with design technologies, trends and best practice
- 7+ years’ experience as an Interior Designer in Australia
- Strong portfolio showcasing design flair, conceptual thinking and technical ability
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A detail-oriented approach and a love of good design
- Someone who’s collaborative, curious and calm under pressure
- A solid background from a reputable, large-scale Architecture and Design firm
- Work within a collaborative, design-focused studio culture
- Exposure to a diverse range of project types and scales
