Senior & Lead Estimator

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Civil Senior or Lead Civil Estimator to join a highly regarded and long-standing civil construction company.

Our client is renowned for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sites, and they have built up a strong track record of success across a range of civil infrastructure projects. The Role
This permanent position will see you involved across the entire project lifecycle, from initial tender through to project completion. You’ll be responsible for leading estimating activities, developing competitive bids, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates, proposals, and tenders for civil projects
• Work collaboratively with project managers and internal departments to gather required information
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Attend site inspections and client meetings as required
• Manage tender submissions, pricing, and post-tender clarifications
• Monitor project costs and performance throughout the lifecycle
• Identify opportunities to enhance estimating and tendering processes

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Estimator within the civil construction industry
• Strong understanding of civil works (drainage, stormwater reconstruction, Culverts, roads, infrastructure – highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially astute with strong analytical ability
• Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Professional, proactive, and able to work autonomously or as part of a team
