About the Role An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Senior Maintenance Electrician
to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business located in Horsley Park. This is a full-time, permanent position
offering a competitive hourly rate of $68/hour, working Monday to Friday on a day shift
– no nights or rotating rosters!
You’ll play a key role in maintaining plant equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting ongoing process improvements in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Maintenance Electrician you will perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- This Maintenance Electrician will troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley).
- The Maintenance Electrician will lead and respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
- The Maintenance Electrician will carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- As the Maintenance Electrician you will support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- This Maintenance Electrician will ensure all work complies with WHS and electrical safety standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve overall plant reliability and performance.
- NSW Electrical License (Essential).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial or FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills and experience with automated systems.
- Solid understanding of electrical safety and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Experience using a CMMS (preferred but not essential).
- Full Australian working rights.
- $68/hour + super – top market rate for your skills and experience.
