Finance Manager | Property Development & Construction 

A growing Property Development Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its finance team and support both the development business and associated investment structures.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with property development experience who is looking for a role that extends beyond traditional financial reporting into development feasibilities, investment fund operations, investor reporting, and strategic financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports across the group.
  • Prepare and review consolidated management reporting.
  • Monitor cash flow and support financial planning activities.
  • Manage development feasibilities and monitor project budgets and performance.
  • Prepare board reporting packs and financial analysis.
  • Support tax planning and compliance activities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.
  • Work closely with senior finance leadership and key stakeholders across the business.
The role will also support Investment Fund and associated investment activities, including:
  • Investor reporting and stakeholder communications.
  • Fund administration and reporting obligations.
  • Supporting capital raising activities.
  • Maintaining financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Assisting with financial management of investment structures.
About You: 
  • 5+ years' experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, or similar role.
  • Strong management reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis experience.
  • Previous experience within property development, real estate, or development-focused businesses.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
  • Experience preparing feasibilities and monitoring project performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Highly Regarded
  • Exposure to Wholesale Managed Investment Trusts (MITs).
  • Experience with investor reporting, fund administration, or capital raising activities.
  • Knowledge of Australian financial services, governance, and compliance frameworks.
