Key responsibilities:
- Deliver primary substation design up to 500kV, including layout, equipment arrangement, and electrical clearances
- Perform design calculations
- Develop complete design packages including BOMs and technical specs for HV equipment
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure clash-free, optimised designs
- Review system studies
- Proven experience as a Primary Engineer on major energy infrastructure projects (HV/EHV substations)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering)
- CPEng or working towards it
- Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g. Engineers Australia)
