They are now looking for an experienced Senior Production Estimator to join their team.
The Role
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate production estimates, BOQs, variations, and costings while working closely with drafting, construction, and pre-construction teams. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior estimators, contribute to process improvements, and play a key role in maintaining estimating quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed production estimates and BOQs for residential projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and documentation to identify scope and cost requirements.
- Price variations and provide cost-effective solutions where appropriate.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support project delivery.
- Assist with workload coordination, quality assurance, and estimating processes.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- 5+ years' experience in residential production estimating.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and documentation.
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Experience using estimating software and construction management systems.
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
