Senior Project Engineer – High Rise Residential
I am working with a highly regarded property development and construction business who are looking to bring an experienced Senior Project Engineer into their Brisbane team.
With a strong presence across the Queensland property market, this business specialises in the development and delivery of high-quality residential projects. Taking a hands-on approach to both development and construction, they are involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from land acquisition and feasibility through to design, pre-construction and project delivery.
With a strong pipeline of exciting multi-storey residential developments, they are looking to bring someone on board who can play an important role in the successful delivery of their upcoming projects.
You will be working closely with the wider project team, taking ownership of key engineering and coordination responsibilities across high-rise residential developments, with involvement extending into the pre-construction phase.
The Role:
- Managing technical aspects of multi-storey residential construction projects.
- Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and design documentation.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and resolving design discrepancies.
- Assisting with construction planning, programming and procurement.
- Working closely with the project team throughout pre-construction and delivery.
- Managing QA, ITPs, technical submissions and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within commercial construction.
- A strong background delivering multi-storey residential projects.
- Previous pre-construction experience, including design coordination, buildability reviews and procurement.
- Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of construction methodologies.
- The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive project outcomes.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
