Senior Project Engineer
Design & Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Engineer to join our client’s team on a luxury high rise residential build project on the Gold Coast.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing aspects of the project, until to completion. You will work closely and collaboratively with the project management team, other engineers, sub-contractors, and your cadet.
The ideal candidate will have previous high rise new build experience with a proven track record of success in managing high-end residential build projects in excess of $120mill. You will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues
- Take control of the joinery, services and commissioning on the project
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Mentoring and coaching a cadet
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Convenient project location
- Long term project, 12 months plus
