The Opportunity
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a landmark luxury residential development in the lower north shore area.
This project will comprise premium residential apartments, high-end resident amenity and retail offerings, creating one of the North Shore's most significant new residential addresses. Featuring complex structures, high-specification finishes and sophisticated services integration, this project will provide outstanding exposure to every aspect of large-scale residential delivery.
Working closely with an experienced Project Manager and Senior Site Team, you will play a key role in driving technical delivery, coordination and project performance from structure through to completion.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing engineering coordination across structure, façade, services and finishes packages
- Driving subcontractor procurement, scope reviews and trade package administration
- Coordinating consultants, design teams and subcontractors to resolve technical issues
- Reviewing design documentation and identifying buildability opportunities
- Managing RFIs, shop drawings, programme tracking and engineering reporting
- Monitoring project costs, variations and commercial performance
- Supporting quality assurance, compliance and project documentation requirements
- Assisting in driving programme outcomes and maintaining project momentum
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years' experience in a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer role
- Proven experience delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use or high-rise projects
- Strong understanding of structural construction, façade systems and services coordination
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work closely with delivery teams
- Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
- Salary package up to $240,000, depending on experience
