An established Tier 2 commercial builder is looking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major $300M mixed-use development in Sydney.
With a strong national presence, an excellent forward pipeline and $4B of work in hand, the business delivers complex projects across commercial, mixed-use, residential, education, healthcare and government sectors.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced project team, you will take responsibility for key packages on this large-scale development, with exposure across structure, façade, and finishes.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to completion
- Coordinating design, consultants, subcontractors and site teams
- Driving programme, quality and safety outcomes
- Managing RFIs, shop drawings, design coordination and technical issues
- Monitoring progress and resolving construction issues
- Supporting the Project Manager and wider project team with overall delivery
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with a reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder
- Experience delivering large-scale commercial, residential or mixed-use projects
- Strong technical and subcontractor management skills
- Experience across façade and/or interiors packages highly regarded
- A relevant construction, engineering or building qualification
- Join an established Tier 2 builder with a strong Sydney pipeline
