Project Engineer/SPE
I am working with a highly regarded international developer builder who are looking for a Project Engineer or SPE. You will play a key role in delivering one of the Gold Coasts most prestigious luxury residential developments.
I am seeking an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join the team on a large scale, high-rise project currently under construction in the Gold Coast.
This is an opportunity to work with an established Tier 1 business renowned for delivering complex, high-quality projects and investing in the long-term development of its people.
Working alongside an experienced Project Manager and site team, you'll be instrumental in driving programme, quality, safety and subcontractor performance from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage project delivery to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, safety and productivity standards are maintained.
- Manage RFIs, shop drawings, design coordination and technical documentation.
- Monitor project costs, procurement and forecasting in conjunction with the commercial team.
- Liaise with consultants, clients and key stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Support construction planning and identify opportunities to improve project outcomes.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers (Senior Project Engineer level).
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with a commercial head contractor.
- Strong experience delivering high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use projects.
- Excellent technical, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of QA, WHS and construction methodologies.
- Procore experience is advantageous but not essential.
