Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to join their team and lead a major project in Melbourne.
The Role Reporting to senior leadership and supported by an experienced management team, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from site establishment through to final handover to the client. This builder completes hundreds of projects annually, maintain strong and have repeat client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects from planning through to completion and handover
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resources
- Monitor project performance and proactively implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and clients
- Proven experience delivering fit-out and refurbishment projects valued at $20m+
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and perform under pressure
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- High level of autonomy and trust from leadership
