Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a $12 M remedial construction project from planning through to completion.
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, assess buildability and sequence remedial works accordingly.
- Procure materials and subcontractors (balconies, glazing, waterproofing, tiling, paving, concrete repairs, etc).
- Schedule, coordinate and supervise all trades and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
- Foresee and plan works ahead by 2–3 weeks, anticipating ordering, resource allocation and site requirements.
- Maintain quality, safety and compliance in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clear reporting and communication to senior management, stakeholders and clients.
- Manage a small project team — ensuring productivity, workmanship standards and timely delivery.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction (remedial experience ideal but not essential).
- Strong technical understanding of building systems, remedial solutions, waterproofing, and structural works.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and translate them into practical delivery.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and sequencing capability.
- Strong people skills with the ability to influence, lead, and manage stakeholders.
- Solid financial acumen for budgeting and cost control.
- Safety-driven mindset, with experience managing live environments.
- Confident communicator with strong written reporting skills.
- Base salary: AUD 170,000–180,000 + Super + Car
- Company car provided (or equivalent car allowance)
