The Opportunity
With a robust project pipeline of commercial workplace fit-outs and refurbishments across Sydney’s CBD and inner suburbs, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of multiple high-specification fit-out and refurbishment projects (typically $1M–$10M, with opportunity for larger scopes).
You will enjoy autonomy, support, and the chance to lead projects where quality, design-conscious delivery and client satisfaction are paramount.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of commercial fit-outs and refurbishments, from contract award to final handover
- Managing project budgets, cost control, procurement, subcontractor coordination and commercial performance
- Overseeing program scheduling, resource management and quality control with a strong emphasis on finish, detail and compliance
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, designers and internal trades teams to ensure design intent, functionality and buildability align
- Driving HSEQ compliance and safe work practices on all sites
- Providing clear, timely reporting and communication to stakeholders, and managing risks, variations and project deliverables
- Qualified in Construction Management, Building, or similar discipline (or equivalent trade + site management experience)
- 5–8+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in commercial fit-out, with at least one project completed as a Senior Project Manager
- Demonstrated ability delivering varied fit-out/refurbishment scopes, from small commercial suites to complex workplace upgrades
- Strong commercial acumen, organisational skills and ability to lead projects to meet budget, time and quality targets
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills
- A hands-on, detail-driven approach, with a commitment to superior finish quality, safety, and client satisfaction
- Competitive package up to $210,000 + super depending on experience
