Our client is a nationally recognised head contractor with a 40+ year track record delivering complex refurbishment and high-end fit-out projects. With a strong pipeline of projects already secured, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major fit-out and refurbishment projects across Sydney.
This role will lead a high performing team delivering complex refurbishments and premium commercial fit-outs typically ranging from $20M to $100M.
This is a true Senior PM position suited to someone already operating at this level, who is comfortable owning full project lifecycle delivery, client relationships and commercial outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Full project leadership from pre-construction through to handover
- Establishing and managing programmes, procurement strategies and project budgets
- Leading client, consultant and stakeholder relationships at executive level
- Driving site teams, subcontractors and project delivery outcomes
- Managing commercial performance, risk, cost control and reporting
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to quality and financial targets
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager working for a head contractor
- Strong fit-out and refurbishment experience on projects valued $20M+
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex staging, live environments and stakeholder interfaces
- Proven leadership capability managing project teams and mentoring PM level staff
