Senior Project Manager
Design & Build have partnered with an established Tier 2 builder, seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a landmark luxury development on the Gold Coast, in partnership with a highly regarded developer.
This is Stage 1 of a 3-stage master planned project, with Stage 1 comprising a $350M ultra-luxury, multi-storey development featuring high-end apartments, retail, and office space.This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a flagship project and play a key role in its successful delivery.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead from the front—managing site teams, driving programme and budget, and ensuring exceptional quality and safety outcomes across all stages of the build.
The Role:
- End-to-end project delivery from pre-construction through to completion
- Oversee planning, programming and critical path management
- Manage procurement, subcontractor engagement and head contract obligations
- Monitor project costs, forecasting, variations and progress claims
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage EOTs and drive programme efficiencies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and authorities
- Lead, mentor and coordinate site teams to achieve project milestones
- Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure full HSEQ compliance
About You:
- Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial, residential or mixed-use projects
- Strong understanding of contracts, cost control and construction methodologies
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to foresee challenges and implement practical solutions
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety and delivery
