About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 years’ experience across a diverse range of built form projects. You’ll lead the cost management function on complex assignments, working closely with clients from early feasibility and cost planning through to post-contract delivery.
In this role, you will:
- Lead cost planning, estimating, procurement advice, and contract administration.
- Confidently present and explain cost plans, risks, and strategies to clients, providing clear solutions and guidance.
- Manage and mentor teams, while being equally comfortable working independently on high-profile assignments.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Balance involvement in both large-scale developments and smaller, bespoke projects.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying / cost management, with exposure to significant built form projects.
- Strong pre- and post-contract expertise, with the ability to see projects through the full lifecycle.
- Exceptional client-facing skills – able to present confidently, challenge assumptions, and provide strategic advice.
- Track record of working on projects of varying scales, ideally including high-value commercial or mixed-use developments.
- Leadership qualities – capable of building and guiding teams, while working autonomously when required.
You’ll become part of a collaborative consultancy of around 50 professionals Nationally who punch well above their weight, delivering both large-scale landmark projects and smaller niche assignments.
