The role sits within the estimating team and is focused on hands on sales estimating across a variety of residential builds, working closely with internal departments to ensure accurate, competitive and well-structured pricing.
As the Senior Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate sales estimates, tenders and pricing for new home builds
- Pricing variations, upgrades and client selections across standard and custom designs
- Completing detailed take offs from plans and specifications
- Liaising with sales consultants, drafting and construction teams to ensure buildability and compliance
- Maintaining and updating pricing databases, supplier rates and inclusion lists
- Interpreting plans, site reports and developer/council requirements
- Collaborating with the Estimating Manager to resolve escalated pricing and scope issues
- Previous experience in residential sales estimating
- Strong understanding of pricing, margins and cost control
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with suppliers and negotiating rates
- Highly stable, long standing Sydney based builder
