As a Site Manager, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of a $60M Class 2 high-rise residential apartment project in Sydney, working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team to deliver a high-quality project safely, on time and within budget.
The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management and delivery of the project, leading site operations and coordinating subcontractors, consultants and site teams to ensure project milestones, quality, safety and commercial targets are achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations and project delivery
- Leading and managing subcontractors, trades, labour and site-based teams
- Managing the construction program, sequencing, site logistics and project milestones
- Driving project outcomes across cost, quality, safety and program
- Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project stakeholders
- Managing site inductions, WHS requirements, risk management and site compliance
- Overseeing construction from structure through to fit-out, finishing and defects
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with plans, specifications and quality standards
- Identifying and resolving construction issues and implementing effective solutions
- Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
- Providing leadership, direction and support to the wider site team
- Utilising site management systems including Hamertech and Procore
- 4+ years’ experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry
- Strong experience delivering Class 2 high-rise or multi-storey residential apartment projects
- Proven experience managing projects from structure through to completion and handover
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, buildability and complex site logistics
- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and large site teams
- Strong knowledge of WHS, quality assurance and project compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Construction-related qualification or trade background
- A strong track record of delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard
- Salary: Up to $250k Plus Super DOE
