Senior Site Supervisor - Newcastle

This company is a leading residential builder who is looking to source an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to oversee townhouse developments in the Newcastle region. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader to step into a pivotal role with a respected construction company known for quality and innovation.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of a housing site of up to 20 detached homes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role is off the tools and requires a hands-on leader who can supervise subcontractors and site teams, maintain safety compliance, and resolve issues efficiently while keeping stakeholders informed. There will be further large developments to work on in the area after this project is completed. 

Key Responsibilities

• Program and run 16 - 70 homes on a land block, depending on the project 
• Oversee construction site operations and deliver projects to agreed timelines and budgets. 
• Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff to maintain quality and compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections, reporting progress and addressing defects.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and foster a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with development and project managers, consultants, and engineers. 

• Significant experience in delivering end to end townhouse projects.
• Full driver's license 
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Computer literacy to use construction and project management software
• Based locally as role does not come with a vehicle.
