Services Engineer/Manager
Design and Build are working with a leading Tier 2 commercial builder seeking a Services Engineer or emerging Services Manager to join a major, city-fringe development in Brisbane. This is a long-term program of works with complex building services and a strong pipeline beyond.
You'll work closely with the project team, consultants, and subcontractors to manage all building services across this high-value project. This is a great opportunity for a Services Engineer ready to step up into a Services Manager role on a $200M+ project.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage services trades throughout all phases of the project
- Assist in design reviews, value engineering, and services integration
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and the delivery team to resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and project specifications
- Review and track shop drawings, commissioning plans, and services programs
- Support procurement and cost control of building services packages
About You
- 3+ years' experience as a Services Engineer on large scale commercial construction projects
- Eagerness to step into a leadership role or already operating as a Services Manager
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire services
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Previous experience on large-scale builds ($50M+) desirable
