An established residential developer is seeking a Showroom Team Manager to lead and elevate the customer selections experience across its Victorian operations.

This is a leadership role suited to someone who combines people management, operational excellence, and a passion for design, driving both team performance and a high-quality, personalised customer journey.

The Opportunity
You will lead a multidisciplinary showroom team across interior design, joinery, and lifestyle selections, ensuring customers receive a seamless, engaging, and high-quality experience when personalising their homes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing showroom team
  • Drive team KPIs, workflow management, and overall productivity
  • Deliver a premium customer selections experience, aligned with business standards
  • Oversee appointments, documentation, and variation outputs to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage resourcing, workforce planning, and workflow distribution
  • Lead weekly workflow and performance reviews, reporting on team outcomes
  • Handle escalations and complex customer queries, ensuring positive resolutions
  • Partner with internal teams to improve processes, systems, and customer experience
  • Support the rollout of showroom strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
  • Proven experience in a people leadership role within residential, interiors, or a similar environment
  • Strong understanding of home building, interiors, or customer selections processes
  • Highly developed emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Passion for design, interiors, and creating great customer experiences
  • Strong organisational and administrative capability with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, volume environment
  • Confident in coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
