We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman to step into a live project due to a recent resignation. This is a hands-on leadership role delivering a commercial office fitout from start to finish.
The Role
You’ll take full ownership of the site, driving program, coordinating trades, and ensuring a smooth delivery through to completion. Reporting into the Project Manager (on-site approx. once per week), you’ll be the key on-the-ground decision maker.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors
- Drive programme and maintain project timelines
- Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions
- Oversee site safety and compliance
- Manage site logistics and sequencing
- Ensure quality delivery and defect minimisation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Foreman/Site Supervisor on commercial fitouts
- Ability to run a project autonomously
- Strong knowledge of site safety systems and procedures
- Familiarity with BuildPass(basic use – sign-ins, inductions, toolbox talks)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Project Details
- Start: ASAP
- Rate: Up to $75 per hour
- Duration: 9–10 weeks
- Hours: Typically 6:30am – 3:30pm
- Location: Box Hill (office fit out project)
