A Melbourne-based commercial fit out and interiors contractor specialising in the delivery of workplace, retail, and hospitality projects is seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Foreman to their team on a short-term contract for an upcoming lift lobby upgrade project in South-East Melbourne.
This is a great opportunity for a foreman who enjoys being leading from the front, and delivering high-quality finishes in a fast-paced commercial fit out environment.
Project Details
- Location: South-East Melbourne
- Duration: Approx. 6 weeks (once commenced)
- Work schedule: Saturday & Sunday (day shifts only)
- Project type: Lift lobby refurbishment / upgrade works
About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities across weekend shifts, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site works during weekend shifts
- Coordinate trades and sequencing of works
- Ensure WHS compliance at all times
- Maintain program timelines and quality standards
- Liaise with project management and stakeholders
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman or leading hand in commercial fit out / construction
- Strong understanding of site safety and coordination
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work autonomously
- Available for weekend work over a 6-week period
