We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Manager - Western Sydney Projects.
The ideal candidate must have a proven history of working as a Site Manager on various civil construction projects.
About our Client.
Our client is a reputable civil construction contractor who specializes in the delivery of civil projects across council upgrades, industrial, subdivisions, and civil construction.
The company currently subcontracts with some of Sydney's leading tier one infrastructure construction companies.
The role will require managing sites varying between $500k to $ $10 million around West Sydney and has the opportunity to grow into a project manager position.
Success in this role will enable you to demonstrate the following:
- Safety Leadership actively promotes safety initiatives and implements risk management techniques
- Working with the Project Team to ensure compliance with Client and safety, quality, and business processes
- Writing and reviewing JSAs and risk assessments
- Read, Interpret, and Communicate Plans Effectively
- Effectively Manage Task sequencing and planning, focusing on efficiency
- Communicates and consults with site management, trade-specific, and field personnel at a high level
- Maximizing resource usage, with the goal of efficiency
- Ensure the project is meeting the program and actively seeks program acceleration
- Manage and schedule resources, identifying peak periods of resource usage within budget limitations
- Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions for the project
- Effective communication builds positive relationships with clients, project team, management, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Use problem-solving abilities to find innovative solutions
- Builds a team culture within the work crew/s
- Accepts and adheres to the quality standards dictated by the project, and has a personal goal to achieve the standards in the most time and cost-efficient methods
- Construction-qualified or engineering qualification
- Experience in managing construction sites
- Experience in construction scheduling and constructability
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar role within Australia
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Project and Excel
