Site Manager
I am currently working closely with a reputable Tier 3 commercial builder who are known for their high quality projects across SE QLD. They have a strong pipeline of work and are looking for a motivated and passionate Site Manager to join their team. You will be joining a business where there is hands-on leadership, they pride themselves on quality finishes, have strong client relationships, and a collaborative team culture.
If you’re the kind of operator who leads from the front, keeps subcontractors accountable, and takes pride in handing over projects you’d happily put your name to, this could be the role for you.
As the Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
My client works across the education, healthcare, social housing and industrial sector and projects tend to be around the $40M - $50M mark.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full site management of the project
- Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and site personnel
- Management of construction programme and daily site activities
- Ensure compliance with H&S, QA and environmental requirements
- Liaise with the Project Manager, consultants and stakeholders
- Monitor quality, productivity and site presentation
- Identify and proactively resolve site issues
About You:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on large scale commercial and/or multi-residential projects
- Strong leadership and trade coordination skills
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing and programme delivery
- High standards for quality, safety and workmanship
- Ability to communicate effectively and lead from the front
- Relevant construction qualifications preferred
