About the Role:
We are recruiting for an 8-week Finishes Supervisor
role on a high-quality apartment project in Flemington. This role is purely finishes-focused, covering painting, defect rectification, and touch-ups across apartments and common areas. The project is currently at 40% shell completion, with finishes commencing shortly, so the successful candidate will need to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all finishes work including painting, minor defect rectification, and touch-ups.
- Manage workmanship quality across apartments and common areas.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and site procedures.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain workflow and schedules.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep the project on track.
- Proven experience as a Finishes Supervisor or similar role in apartment or residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of painting, finishes, and defect management.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple areas simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Current relevant certifications and site safety tickets preferred.
- Work with a leading builder on a high-quality apartment project.
- Short-term contract with the potential for further opportunities.
- $70 per hour + super (40 - 45 hours per week)
