Site Manager – High-Rise Residential
My client, a well-established, construction business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a high-rise residential project in an inner-city Brisbane location.This is a flagship multi-storey apartment development requiring a strong on-site leader with proven experience managing complex vertical builds from structure through to completion.
The Role
You will take full ownership of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high-quality standard. Working closely with the Project Manager and construction team, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily site activities, and drive performance across all trades.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end site management of a high-rise residential project
- Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and site personnel
- Programme management and sequencing of works
- Enforcing WHS standards and maintaining a safe site environment
- Quality control and defect management
- Liaising with consultants, engineers, and stakeholders
- Reporting on progress, risks, and milestones
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-rise residential or mixed-use projects
- Strong background in concrete structures and vertical construction
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage fast-paced, complex builds in live environments
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and programme controls
