A leading Melbourne-based construction company
specialising in commercial fitouts, refurbishments, and extensions is seeking an experienced Site Manager
for a Medical Centre project. This is a contract role
offering $70 per hour + super
on a 42.5-hour week, with a minimum 3-month commitment
and potential for extension.
The Role:
You will oversee the delivery of a medical centre fit-out, refurbishment, and extension, ensuring the project runs safely, efficiently, and on programme. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will coordinate trades, manage subcontractors, monitor quality, and maintain strong client and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day site operations
- Coordinate subcontractors and scheduling
- Ensure OH&S compliance and maintain high-quality standards
- Provide progress reports and accurate site documentation
- Drive productivity to meet project milestones
- Proven Site Manager experience on commercial fitout/refurbishment projects, preferably in medical or healthcare facilities
- Strong construction knowledge and OH&S expertise
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and keep the site running smoothly
- $70 per hour + super
- 42.5-hour working week
