Site Manager
Design & Build Recruitment is working with a Southeast Queensland developer builder. We are looking for an experienced site manager or senior site manager to run their luxury apartment new build project, which is $80M is value.
You and your team will be well staffed and a very achievable and realistic program. You will report into a Senior Project Manager, and have three foremen (structures, finishing, & general) working for you, 2 contract administrators, and a dedicated safety advisor. You could not ask for more support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, safety, quality, & subcontractors
- Develop and implement construction schedules
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality
- Foster a positive, high performing, & collaborative working environment
- Keep on top of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project compliance
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on luxury apartment new build projects $60M+
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices
- Excellent leadership
- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced construction environment
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
- Values teamwork and camaraderie
