$70-$80 per hour (DOE) | Immediate Start | 6+ Week Contract (Potential to Extend/Permanent)
A well-established South Australian commercial builder with a strong pipeline of community and institutional projects is seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager / Supervisor for an immediate start in Hawthorndene, Adelaide.
The project is a $1.5m new build at a local cricket club, with the concrete pour commencing this week. From there, you will take full ownership of the build through to completion.
This is initially a minimum 6-week contract, with strong potential to extend and even transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be the sole Site Manager on site, reporting directly to the Construction Manager and Director. You'll be responsible for:
- Day-to-day site management and coordination
- Managing and driving trades to programme
- Maintaining safety and quality standards
- Overseeing subcontractor performance
- Problem-solving and ensuring smooth site delivery
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager / Supervisor on commercial builds
- Ability to work autonomously and take full site ownership
- Solution-focused and hands-on approach
- Strong trade coordination and relationship-building skills
- Solid understanding of OH&S and site compliance
- Experience using HammerTech and Procure (essential)
- Immediate availability preferred
- $70-$80 per hour (depending on experience)
