The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all onsite construction activities from site establishment through to completion
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades onsite
- Drive the construction programme and ensure project milestones are met
- Maintain strong safety standards and site compliance
- Manage quality control, defects and project handover
- Work closely with the Project Manager and broader delivery team
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects
- Experience delivering education, childcare, or similar institutional projects as well as experience in live environments highly regarded
- Strong ability to manage subcontractors and site programmes
- Solid understanding of structure through to finishes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Stable work history with reputable builders
- Projects located across Melbourne’s North and West
- Project values between $3M – $12M
