A reputable commercial builder is seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to take full ownership of a premium four-floor commercial fitout project valued at $10M all-in. This is a full internal fitout of an unoccupied building, delivering a high-end finish from start to completion.
This role requires a highly capable and technically strong Site Manager who is not only confident running site operations, but also proficient across back-end project functions. You will be the key driver on site, ensuring seamless coordination between site delivery and office processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for end-to-end site management and project delivery
- Drive programme, sequencing, and coordination of all trades on site
- Manage procurement processes, including raising packages, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials
- Confidently utilise project management systems to manage RFIs, variations, procurement logs, and reporting
- Oversee quality assurance, OH&S compliance, and site standards
- Liaise closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting aligned with back-office requirements
About You:
- Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager delivering commercial fitout projects ($5M-$15M range ideal)
- Technically savvy, with strong capability across procurement systems and construction software (e.g. Procore, Aconex, Jobpac or similar)
- Confident managing back-end functions including reporting and documentation
- Strong understanding of buildability, sequencing, and high-end finishes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive trades and programme outcomes
- Hands-on, organised, and detail-oriented with a proactive approach

- Rate:$70-$80 per hour + super
- Hours: 45 per week
