Up to $75/hr | Full-Time + Weekend Work Available
We are currently partnering with retail fit out contractor to secure an experienced Site Manager for a 7-month contract on a retail project in Tasmania.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded builder known for delivering high-quality commercial projects across Australia.
The Project
You'll be leading the delivery of a retail construction project, managing all on-site activities through to completion, with a strong focus on programme, quality, and subcontractor coordination.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take ownership of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day site activities and driving programme outcomes
- Coordinating and managing subcontractors on site
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
- Overseeing site safety, compliance, and quality control
- Liaising with the Project Manager and broader delivery team
- Managing site logistics and sequencing of trades
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on retail or commercial projects
- Strong ability to manage subcontractors and fast-paced programmes
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong leadership capability
- Solid understanding of site safety and quality requirements
- Available to commit to a 7-month contract
- 7-month contract starting 4th May
- Competitive rates up to $75 per hour
- Full-time position (5 days per week)
- Potential for weekend work (as required)
