Site Manager
Design & Build Recruitment is working with top tier 2 head contractor. Our client has operations in both Queensland and Victoria. Queensland projects are currently based in and around the southern Gold Coast. Projects will range in value between $60M - $100M. This is a permanent and long-term position with other projects in the pipeline.Ideally, we secure a quality site manager to join and be involved early in preparation to "break dirt" June/July
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, safety, quality, & subcontractors
- Develop and implement construction schedules
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality
- Foster a positive, high performing, & collaborative working environment
- Keep on top of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project compliance
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial new build projects $60M+
- Excellent leadership
- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced construction environment
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
- QBCC
- First Aid ticket
