The Role:
As a Contract Site Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of commercial fit-out projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Contracts range from short-term refurbishment projects to large-scale commercial fit-outs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilisation through to practical completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and project programs.
- Drive site safety and ensure compliance with WHS legislation.
- Conduct toolbox talks, site meetings, and progress reporting.
- Monitor quality assurance and manage defects.
- Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Proven experience managing commercial fit-out projects as a Site Manager.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing, and finishing trades.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to hit the ground running and manage fast-paced project environments.
- Sound understanding of Australian building codes and WHS requirements.
- White Card (essential).
- First Aid Certificate and relevant trade qualifications (desirable).
