Design & Build are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established developer/builder delivering high-quality architectural apartment projects across Melbourne.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded business with a strong reputation for delivering premium multi-residential developments. Working on projects typically valued up to $20m, you'll take full ownership of site operations from commencement through to completion, ensuring exceptional quality, programme delivery and client satisfaction.

Projects are located throughout Melbourne's prestigious eastern suburbs and are recognised for their architectural design and high-end finishes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Oversee subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers, ensuring they work efficiently and safely to meet project objectives.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations on the construction site.
  • Maintain detailed project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and quality control documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve issues, anticipate potential challenges, and provide solutions.
  • Perform quality control inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements.
  • Keep the project on schedule and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in high-end & multi residential construction projects.
  • A solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of construction software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are highly desirable.
