The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a $2M commercial fitout project for a well-established construction company, Amicus, located on Currie Street in Adelaide CBD.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with commercial fitout experience to take ownership of the day-to-day site operations and drive the project through to completion before Christmas.
Working closely with a Contract Administrator and the key project contact, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining programme and quality standards, and ensuring the project is delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project programme, specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on site safety, compliance and housekeeping.
- Coordinate deliveries, site access and trade sequencing to minimise disruption.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement practical solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the Contract Administrator and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction or fitout projects.
- Strong subcontractor coordination and site leadership skills.
- Sound understanding of construction sequencing, quality control and site safety.
- Ability to manage programme deadlines and resolve issues proactively.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Adelaide-based and available to commence at short notice.
