We are looking for a Site Manager - the location of the site will be selected at a convenient spot for you.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day:
- Oversee on-site activities to keep operations running efficiently and on schedule.
- Organise and manage labour, materials, and equipment to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
- Carry out regular site checks to maintain quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Enforce workplace health and safety practices, identifying risks and putting controls in place.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
- Lead, guide, and support crew members, including mentoring junior staff and apprentices.
- Demonstrated background in commercial landscaping and/or civil construction environments.
- Confident leader who can direct teams and maintain a positive, productive work culture.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively on-site.
- Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and environmental compliance standards.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on attitude with clear and professional communication skills.
- Holds relevant industry certifications, including a valid construction White Card.
- Current driver’s licence with flexibility to travel between job sites.
